ignition module question

ignition module question
ok so i just replaced my ignition module a few months ago and it solved half my problem so i parked it for a few months till i could fix the rest of it and now i have no spark what could cause the ignition module to go out? other problems it would start and run for a few seconds then die and the balast resistor kepted frying and the fuel pressure would drop could thisx all be linked together?
