Ignition cylinder challenge
So, I have an '88 XJ and when I got it, the key was broken off in the ignition cylinder. I have since replaced the cylinder with a new one, but the problem now is that I can not rotate the cylinder enough counter-clockwise that the key will release. This means I can't get the key out of the car and anybody can jump in and steal my XJ with no difficulties at all.
Any one else have such an issue and how might you have resolved it?

You want to move the switch towards the steering wheel in small increments until you can remove the key & use the accy position. Cool, give me a few and I'll check out your site.
