Default Help!!!! steering all over the place

hi guys need some help from the pros my jeep for some reason started drive really sloppy if i rock the steering wheel the cherokee feels like its rolling all over the place, steering feels really loose lots of play it was never like this, i drive on the highway and i feel like i'm going to loose control of the jeep. the only thing i have changed is all the tires in the last few weeks i went under her to see if anything was bad and i have no clue it looks fine but i have had a clunking sound under my front end it feels like the upper or lower control arm i feel the clunking near the gas pedal Thanks for your help guys i love my jeep and want to keep her around for a long time. 2000 cherokee 4 door 4.0 4x4

Change ball joints, bushings, trac bar, sway bar end links

i changed the front u joints and hub bearings this summer they where shot, should i change everything you said?

inspect track bar bushings first.
then inspect steering box frame area and bolts for cracking.

then check for play in the tie rod ends.

then check ball joints and wheel bearings (hub units).

you should find what you're looking for at this point...

tracking bar, u joints and front hubs are all new the ball joints look like the stock ones and the end links are stock ones the steering box looks good i used the pry bar to check for play it seems nice and tight?

one more thing i just thought of. check the steering shaft joint under the hood on the shaft that goes from your steering column to your steering box.

did you put on new or used tires?
