I checked my firing order with my scrap Jeep and with various diagrams, and it looks right. I'll re-check mine again in the morning when it's light out... maybe I missed something the first four times. I'll play around with it some too.

bring motor to top dead center on compression stroke on no 1 cyl remove cap see which way rotor is pointing that were no1 spark plug wire goes on cap then proceed to install the other wire in the correct order going counter clock wise

yay for the mechanic! lol ok can someone send me a pic of the right routing (actual engine picture) because mine is exactly like it shows in the previous firing order picture in the last couple pages

you also have cam timing theres adifference if you had the cam out and was not installed right that is whats called 180 out

no 1 on the cap can be any one of the wires as long as it lines up on the rotor and the no1 cyl

Correct, but most people just use the 1 mark on the cap. He never removed the distributor so it's gotta be out of order

YOU GUYS ROCK!!! it was the timing. I guess I cant read the haynes manual right . its a little rough but Ill fix that tomorrow. but les than a second of turning the key VROOOOM! ( setting off my dads tiburon sitting next to me) lol
