too many people don't follow the directions - particularly when adding it to the crankcase. It's doing it's job - if your seals suck, and the only reason they weren't leaking bad before was because the oil was sludged up around it, then don't blame it on the cleaner - your seal was bad - replacing it is the only fix. If you don't want it to clean AS well so you can live in blindness about your decrepit engine seals, just leave it in 30 miles like the directions say.

Haha Ive heard the "seafoam debate" many times myself, never used it but maybe Ill give it a shot this time around, never owned anything with even half as many miles. Im replacing a brake line and both front wheel bearings tomorrow, Ill check everything else out while its on the lift.
