Alright, so today I decided to replace my ground wire that hooks up to the battery, since it wouldn't clamp onto the battery post tightly. I cleaned all the connections before putting the new one on and now it seems to idle a lot higher than it use to( don't have a tach so I don't know exactly how high). You know when you first start a vehicle and they rev high for a few seconds? It sounds like its stuck up high like that.

 

TPS, I had a high idle, replaced my TPS and everything is good as new.

I read up on some threads on here, try searching "high idle" thats what I did.

Or when you worked on it you could have cracked or knocked off a vacuum line.

 

I would check all vacuum lines first hen consider the tps. Pick up a can of carb or throttle body cleaner and spray he lines, if it revs higher you have a vacuum leak

 

So when I started it up this morning it began to idle normally, so I guess that problem is fixed for now lol. Now I've got the check engine light on with code p1398. I already had the cps replaced about a month ago.
