Idle Issues
have an 01 Cherokee with 4.0 engine. it sounds like its missing or hesitating at idle. drives fine, just idle. it doesn't shut off at idle and engine light stays on. ive got the engine light check and nothing comes up, changed spark plugs, ran seafoam, cleaned sensors on throttle body. anything im missing? thanks

Just a few questions that come to mind:
Do you see the rpm's change during idle?
What happens when you drive and take your foot of the gas?
Did you check the gaps before installing the plugs?
Changed anything else?
With sensors around the throttle body, do you also mean the IAC? And cleaned the throttle body/valve as well?
Didn't splash your TPS or MAP sensor?
