Default IAC ohms test

Finally got a chance to do it. 60 ohms across 1-4 and 2-3 of the IAC. Sound right?

Went ahead and put it back in the t/b. Now it's idling different. All three times I've messed with it this has happened. I'm thinking it may be a mechanical rather than an electrical issue.
Scanned for codes and came up with three:
-IAC
-Coolant Temp sensor (I'll test it tomorrow)
-Battery disconnected (supposedly means the batt has been disconnected from the PCM in the last 50 on/off starts. Not by me it hasn't. Anyone had this code come up?)

This Battery disconnected which was a code 12 when I key off and on 4 times on my 96 xj is the only code that kept coming up for my problems I was having with my xj, other than a code 55 all clear code. I know I hadn't disconnected it, not sure why it stores that code ??

Ever had your CEL come on? Even with those 3 codes coming up mine has never been on except for the two times when it was my fault. I've got an aquaintence whose a service manager at a Dodge/Jeep dealership. I may have to stop in next time I'm down his way and ask about "code 12".

Default IAC ohms test (problem solved)

Fixed I hope. Both the IAC and CTS are good. The only thing I did that removed the IAC and CTS codes (22 and 25) was to polish the probe on the CTS. It was black. Not a crust but like an oxidation. Had to be sending false info to the PCM. And since that info is responsible for the fuel/air mixture it's probably what caused my IAC code to come up. For now all is good. Especially nice since it didn't cost me anything.
