im not sure if this is the right forum but i tryed

so i have a 2000 cherokee with coil pack ignition and it decided to spin a rod bearing and throw it out the block. i found a 99 cherokee with a distributor ignition is it possible to use my head so i have the bolt holes for coil pack and then use that bottom end? im not sure if the crank sensor bolts in to the distributor hole?? any help would b awesome so i can get my baby back on the road

 

Yes you wont have to swap heads, if you fabbing a bracket to hold the coils. better anyway get away from the infamous 0331 head. just swap every thing over to the 99 and youll be good to go.
