LOL- I want one too, although I think the 4.7 stroker will get about as much HP/torque to weight ratio as the TPI, nothing sounds as nice as a 350.

NOICE! Sounds like a beast, helped a buddy do a 383 for his Vette. I was going to build one for mine but decided against it when he managed to destroy his tranny and rearend in one weekend. :-)

 

haha yeah that would suck. Once we get my lift put on my jeep, and free up a spot in the garage we are going to drop a pontiac 400 (roller rockers, punched .40 over, pete jackson noisy gear drive, the whole deal) in a trans am.

we have considered finding a 4x2 Cherokee and making a dune runner with this motor

 

I ended up doing a "mild" 355 for my Vette. Would still wake you up but did not destroy my TH350 ( was going to do a 200-4R ) or rear. I still every once in a while miss my Vette, but I'll probably get another one some day. Not to mention selling the Vette put the down payment on the house with 3 car garage. :-) Jeep is just as much fun and a ton more practical. First thing my brother asked when I told him about the XJ was "when are we building a 4.7 stroker for it?"

Maybe this winter was my answer. :-)

 

Looks clean man I wouldnt mind a 327 in a jeep. or maybe a 331 stroker check out this rid of a 331 insane rpms man.

 

The NV4500 behind that L98 is adaptable to 4WD by use of an AtlasII transfercase. D44/D60 axles is a killer set up.

 

I've got a soft spot for drag racing so I like this Cherokee better. Worlds Quickest (not fastest) street legal Cherokee.
