I used mixed gear oil in the diff, any problem
Yesterday I replaced the gear oil of rear diff on my rig. After draining out the old fluid, I realized I only have 1 quart mobile 1 75w90 and 1 quart walmart supertech 75w90 in stock. I hence dumped all I have in the differential. Now I am a little bit concerned that if there is any adverse effect of mixing different gear oil?

Same thing I did in my rear diff (ran out of other gear oil) and have been driving on it for almost 7 months now and have not noticed any difference.
I think as long as they are the same grade you will be fine.
