Nothing different from a solid shaft swap, or a 91+ d30.

I wouldnt do the hose clamp, I would just lock the actuator over.

I dont like the idea of the hose clamp on the axle either.

My reason is that it will cause a slight imbalance in the shaft that could lead to hub wear and premature failure.

I know you guys will instantly think, it doesnt weight so much, but it doesnt matter, think of the rotational speed of the axle at highway velocities

I would rather relocate the shift fork into the locked position by rearranging the e-clips than putting a hose clamp on the shaft
