I need t case help

Default I need t case help

so i bought a np231 with sye cheap, im trying to pull out my t case, everything is unhooked, got all six nuts off, and it will not slide off the tranny, when you wiggle or pry on it the thing shows a gap but no other movement any suggestions or advice

They usually just get seized around the studs, keep working it and try to get a flat blade srewdriver or chisel in between, keep moving up in size , it will come apart. Patience and a bfh lol!

Did you get all six nuts off. Count them. If there is only five, get that one on top you can't see.

i got all six theres six on the ground, linkage is off , breather, plug everything

What about the bracket that bolts to both trans and transfer?

on the drivers side? if so it doesnt seem to be holding it up
