Default i need some idea suggestions

I have a 98 Cherokee XJ with no performance mods done to it and I'm looking to build it into something with more power but I don't know where to start or what part to buy i was thinking about starting by installing a cold air intake but I feel like there is something else i can buy that will give it more power so what do you think I should start with. oh and its a 4.0L. I'm just looking to give it more power.

A healthy 4.0 is pretty well off in the power department.
I would adjust your TV cable if you haven't, then you could add a throttle body spacer or a bored out throttle body if you wanted.

X2 on the TB bore. 4 port nitro injectors are worth looking into as well. Maybe a stroker conversion down the road?

Even just changing out the stock exhaust downpipe will apparently give a good lift in power

I have bigger bore exhaust and header combos on my 3x '96 XJs and the stock one is noticeably less powerful

start with 4 hole injectors, new o2 sensors, adjust throttle cable linkage, and then new exhaust. Also clean throttle body, and IAC
