I am having an intermitten problem. When i stop for a light or a stop sign my rpm's drop down and it feels like it will stall. This does not happen constantly. It drives perfectly fine. Only at an idle this happens. Anyone able to help or has had this problem?

 

My 98 did that after I accidently ripped the wires out of my o2 sensor by the cat. Check all of your exposed wires?

 

My check engine light came in over a year ago and the code it gave me was for the o2 sensor at the cat. I will have to replace it.

 

No don't replace the o2 if your not sure it is bad. Check the wires, mine did the same thing to a T. The o2 wire rubbed thru on the drive shaft and cause the 15 amp fuse to blow and made it idle weird like that.

Let me guess, it stops sometimes when you put it in and out of gear?

 

Yes it does stop. Sometimes i have to put it in neutral and stay on the gad a bit. Thanks everyone for your input.
