I'd try a slightly smaller metric impact socket that fits snugly and hammer it on. Use an impact gun if available otherwise use a breaker bar to loosen it.

That might work but they actually make sockets that look like these...

They work really well for removing damaged bolts if you're anything like me I've just given you an excuse to go get another tool lol! If not the hammering on a smaller socket trick works well I've done it plenty of times.

I actually work for a Walmart tire center and if they damage a stud or lug nut then it is that stores responsibility to have the vehicle fixed. Depending on how upset you want to get with a manager you will get the following: it fixed for free maybe oil change or a gift card. If you go to that store and they give you grief tell them you will contact corporate and then they will get their butt moving. If still nothing contact corporate and they will for sure take care of you. No need to be hating on Walmart though, all shops sometimes make mistakes. Just like with any other job.

You could at least try to call the store and ask for at least some assistance in getting it off. You don't have to raise hell for them to help you brake it loose. I do recommend using anti seize anytime your working with parts like that. It makes life easier. Also you could try heating it up with a plumbers torch and then trying to get it off. Heat and a long enough breaker bar should at least snap the stud so you can remove the tire.

What size drive was the breaker bar? If it's from sears they should replace it but you might want to exchange it if it's not al least 1/2" drive.
