I Need Help getting a close estimate
Hey i was wondering i may be getting my jeep painted soon and i was wondering how much might it cost to get the whole thing linexed like a desert tan color help me someone ?

Your best bet would be to take it to a local line-x shop and get an estimate. What someone here says doesn't really mean anything if you can't get it done for that where you are located.

Not sure about Linexing a whole Jeep but I paid $350 to have the tins on a bike I built Linex'd.
I didn't really prep anything the guy at the shop took care of all the prep, I dropped the parts off and two hours later I had a Linexed gas tank, battery cover, front and rear fender.
Here is a picture to give you an idea of how much surface area was Linex'd. I seem to remember the guy charging by the "click" or basically the amount of Linex he used....

I would bet 1000-1600 dollar range depending if you do the prep work of not. I think maaco chargers 600-800 for a paint job that you have to do the prep work for, aka it blows

well i cant really do prep work myself cause im not experience plus i got some cancer on the roof from crack clear coat due to the crappy chrysler paint, plus the regulations at the time might have something to do with it.
either way my paint is crack with little rust spots everywhere its probably going to bare metal

Right on! i think desert tan is the way im going with mine, iI do believe i'll go the paint route though. Post up pics if you do it!!!
