my god these cherokees/Comanches seem to have the most biggest POS steering columns on the planet earth. does anybody make an after market one? the used one i put in lasted about three months before it grenaded like the one that was in it when i bought it.

now i just bought another cherokee and it's column is moving all around too, but not yet completely blown up but sure it wont be long. in the alternative, What is the last year of a steering column i can put into a 89?

i also got this 89 not running. it ran before it went to get 'tuned up' haha, so am sure it is mis-routing of the vacuum lines, as i bought my 89 Comanche non running and all it took was my then fren five seconds to get it running as soon as we got it off the trailer. i am no longer friends with him so i need a diagram as to the correct vacuum line placement, as in an assembly manual. do they exist for 89 cherokees? thanks.
