I am getting the cat-back deal from Rusty's and i wanted to know if I should get the cherry bomb, flowmaster 40, or the flowmaster 50.
I think it's more between the 40 and 50 because I don't want it incredibly loud.
Also, this may sound stupid, I need a new cat so I am going to order a high flow one from somewhere. Is there anything I need to buy to connect the cat to the muffler?
And can anyone get me a discount at Rusty's? lol

The cherryBomb is not at all loud. I have one on my 94 and ppl compliment me all the time on it. You can go to youtube and hear all of them if you like...Tj
i have the 40 on my grand cherokee V8. it sounds very nice and not obnoxiously loud. very deep rumble. not sure what it would be like on a cherokee. i know it doesnt sound good on a wrangler hahaha

I just saw a video on Youtube where the guy said that he had a 40 on once but it was too loud so he replaced it with a Cherrybomb. Hmmm.... I will consider the Cherrybomb then.
i wish I could hear all these in person!
Which one sounds beastlier?

Flowmaster makes a nice super 44 off-road muffler it has a 14 guage peice of diamond plate welded around it for added protect. plus it sounds great(with no cat). It costs about $90 from Summit
Here is a pic

and here is one installed w/a cat.

Go with a flowmaster 40 and 2.5" pipe. Anything bigger is going to cost you low end torque.

I got a Cherrybomb on mine and love it. I would recommend finding a good exhaust shop and replace the S-Pipe from the manifold to the cat. Mine wasn't bent well from the factory maybe they are better in later years but mine didn't promote flow very well, had it replaced with a better pipe and the engine revs a lot easier. Getting it to rev to 5K isn't difficult, used to struggle at about 4200rpm now it revs freely.
