well i have came to the decsion to keep this 2wheel drive with 4.10 gears in it. I am going up to 4 1/2 inch in lift with 33s went out few nights ago an it really proved its self to me cant believe it went thru the stuff it did i got scared for a second but it pulled thru

 

I say go for it these jeeps are very surprising on what they can do even in 2wd. I take mine on the beach every weekend and only air down my tires to go on. There r a few times I needed 4wd but mostly I don't...Tj

 

With a cheap locker you will do fine in 2WD. How well does a 2wd flex, just curious.
