96 side molding removeal
im slowly in the process of painting everything on my jeep thats black to a super gloss black but the side molding will not hold paint that well cause it rubber. i was wondering if anybody has any pics of a 96 with them removed or if they did anything different. and im hopeing there is no rust. im sure there will be discoloration but in that case ill be painting over the spots with gloss black anyways. but pics will help with my decsion. thanks much

I dont have any picks but when I got my 96, it had a panel of the molding missing so I just went around and took all the rest of it off. You can hardly notice the discoloration and I think it looks better anyways. Go for it. Man, your lucky, I wish I could paint my own rig.
