I hate stuck bolts. Any ideas?
I went to try and swap in my new throttle body this morning, and wouldn't ya know itthe bolts holding the throttle position sensor are stuck TIGHT. I actually slightly bent the pegs of my craftsman torx bit trying to get them out. I tried WD-40, nothing. Penetrating oil, nothing. Any other ideas here? Thanks guys.

I have the same problem with mine. I haven't gotten around to getting them out but my plan was to cut the heads off with my dremel and just replace the screws (maybe with something besides torx). Once you get the sensor off you can just take some vice grips to the remander of the screw and get it out that way.

I believe they had thread lock on em, when i pulled my out to clean everything they appeared to have some on the screws. just use socket style torx's and then add a space pipe to the ratchet to get a little extra leverage, craftsman has lift time warrenty on their stuff so just bring it back and get a new one

Even If I did get a new one from craftsman, if one bent wouldnt the new one? I mean, I used a 1/4" drive ratchet and put some muscle on it. I really don't wanna cut them, but if there's no other solution...

IF YOU stip the head you and take a cutting wheel and put a slice in it so you can use a flat head screwdriver that has a hex by the handel and use a wrench on it to brake loose.

Lol I got one of them to turn. After my 30 minute drive home, I squirted some PB i picked up on the bolts, waited a few, and tightened a bit and then went to loosen the engine side bolt. She moved. Gettin ready to pull the TB and swap everything over as soon as this freak Sleet stops. Wierd weather here in Shenco.
