Winter is coming soon here in NY. THEY LOVE using salt on the roads but unfortunately my uni body has a nice hole and crack in it. Found it last night so I'll be ordering TNT unibody stiffeners and hoping with my uni body repair skills I'll be fixing this one too.

I did a little build thread before on my last jeep.

I'll keep posted when I order the stiffeners

Chicago is the same way. I reinforced my frame during the floor replacement but still need to chip off all loose rust and paint then undercoat. I would prefer to keep as much as the factory frame as possible. I can plate if need be.

I am from Upstate, NY and they definitely love to over salt the roads here. It is a car killer plus, it ruins all the fun, still I can't wait for the snow.

Yes, salt can lead to a bit of a problem. The Peep has seen it's share.
Blacksmith does have a beauty write up, well worth checking out.
If you can't get a southern XJ some time and a lot of weld can do wonders.
