ok i know its not about a jeep but im going to shoot any way... im in the millitary and i have a hmmvw (hummer) that has a np 242 that we cant get to shift into one of its gears. from top to bottom it HL H N L. we can shift it from low to nuetral and when we trie to shift in high it doesnt engage and sounds like the chain is just barley touching the gear. and then it'll shift into high lock, but it wont go into high... any ideas people.
