Welcome to CF! And don't worry, it could have been much worse. My one buddy's friend was driving her VW Cabrio (and I think she was leaving the bar when she did this), and one of our good old Appalachian Mountains in PA jumped out in front of her and she pretty much wrecked the whole right side!
lol, women drivers!
But for the fix, I really have nothing to tell you. The best you could do is get a mechanic to "look at it" ask him what THEY would do to fix it, then take it home and do it yourself! That's what my family always does.

Late to the party, but...
One point you'll really want to check is the crumple zone on the subframe rail. I believe it's just behind the bumper mount - if it's nice and straight, you're golden. If it's been impacted, you'll want to pull it out as best you can, and maybe even consider cutting out and welding in the spots that don't smooth completely out.
If it has been mashed some, DON'T just cut off the end and weld on some new tube - this zone is specifically there so that it will smash instead of you!
Also, if you have the tranny cooler, good luck getting the "quick connect" fitting on the lower hose apart. There's plenty of literature around here on that alone, but the skinny of it is to use plenty of PB Blaster. If you have the little plastic tabs, go easy on them (so they don't break), and keep working it until it comes apart (getting it twisting first helps break the gunk in it loose). If you don't have the tabs, there's a cheap disconnect tool you can get from any parts store - I think the size you want is 3/8" - that slides into the fitting and separates the metal clips inside.
Good luck, and maybe think about putting some tree whistles on the bumper...

What i think is the strangest part of things jumping out in front of you is,they always drag you back over where they came from.
