Default I got a comanche!

hey guys sorry i havent been on for awhile. I got into a bad car wreck with my cherokee and broke both my legs. this happen bout a month ago. So i started to look for a new one and out of no where i see a thread for a jeep comanche. I got it and now i need to work on it in my wheel chair haha. I have to replace the radiator but before i do i looked int something called
Engine Oil Cooler Kit High Performance

and the set up of the engine is almost exact of a cherokee. Im sorry if im not suppose to post mj questions on here but yall helped so much i thought you wouldnt mind. My question is should i get this instead of new radiator? Ive red a bunch of stuff in my xj magazines telling me this is the way to go. But just want to make sure! Is it easy to instal? Also does it do as good as the discription says on 4wd.com. thanks all!

SOrry i didnt add this but also this is a closed system. What im looking for is an open cooling system. From what i read those work great but plz tell me is this or the closed system i have posted better! thanks!

That is more of an auxiliary cooler that you would use IN ADDITION to the radiator. You definitely cannot eliminate the radiator altogether. I would suggest using a transmission cooler, as it would do more for you than an engine oil cooler.

Sorry to hear about your accident, hope the recovery is coming along well and you continue to see progress

Nothing wrong with the closed system! Google macs radiator shop and buy a metal coolant tank and never mess with it again!
