Default I don't want a loud exhaust..

I have been searching for exhaust options, and every exhaust thread I read says, flowmaster, cherry bomb, etc.. Well I'd like to keep my Jeep quiet, it is a daily driver, not just a toy..

Are there any decent cat back exhausts that are close to stock? Or would I just be better off going to a local muffler shop?

you should listen to the dynomax cat back. that's what i got. it's really not that loud inside. it's just a tad louder than stock sound. some folks on youtube have what it sounds like. just search for dynomax & jeep cherokee.

yeah, i am thinking of ordering the dynomax, right now I have real bad exhaust leaks at the tailpipe and the t-pipe hits the bumper, so almost anything will be an improvement over what I currently have.

also, look into the thrush exhaust. i think they're sold in autozone and they might sound the same as the dynomax. they sound pretty good based on what i saw on youtube.com. but if you don't mind waiting you should check on jegs.com for the dynamax mail in rebates. when i got mine original price is $99 + shipping minus $50 Mail in rebate. so in the end i got the cat back exhaust for $60 bucks.

I just installed my DynoMax.. I am very happy with it.. I ordered it yesterday from Summit.. my muffler fell off today on the way to work.. When I got home the new cat-back was waiting for me so I pulled it into the garage and put it on.. I really do not like those U-bolts, but it's not like I am going to have to remove it again or anything..

Very happy with the exhaust, it is a little louder than stock, has a little grunt to it but not annoying, nice exhaust

if you're worried about how loud it will be, just put it back stock.

And I thought that I was the only person in the world who wants a quiet exhaust system!

nothing is going to be cheap friend. but aftermarket performance exhaust will run a bit more than stock. you can order the whole thing through your local parts house for a reasonable price. or get an entire system fabbed up by a muffler shop for about the same.
