Default I don't got no remote door locks.

I heard that if you don't have remote door locks on a Cherokee... you can simply buy the sensor mounted below the front grill.

And possibly adding something inside the car to finish the job.

Anybody hear about this?

I would guess there was a kit out there somewhere... but I haven't found it yet.

I doubt it, I would think you would need to install something on each door to pull the door lock. But idk for sure

I have power door locks, then installed an alarm with keyless entry. You can get just a keyless entry kit if you have power door locks. If not, then you would have to install a power door lock kit.

Ya need to have power locks to start with. If you do, an aftermarket kit is the easier way to go, but if you want oem, youd need the sensor, keyless entry module, and some other things im sure im forgetting. Lol. Kinda tired.

Anywho, youd also have to wire it all in. If the vehicle wasnt equipped with keylenss entry factory, then the factory wouldnt install that harness for it. A good aftemarket kit and a professional installation can be as good or better than the factory piece.
