I was chatting with a gentlman in my store today who was pushing some homemade hydrogen generator idea on me saying he increased his trucks MPG by 65% using one. I came home and did just a quick websearch and what I saw sparked my interest as it all seemed on the up and up. Does anyone here have any experience with this type thing?

 

Tried one on my last jeep and nothing. Tried one when i was in my auto classes in college on my 92 buick le sabre and was nothing. Most of what i have read points towards little gains if any. Go ahead and try it... I had a blast making it with my friends and testing it out. But IMHO I found that they generally don't work.

 

To be honest, most of those kinds of things are snake oil at best, in my experience. What kind of generator was he talking about?
