Default Hydro 8000's vs Nitro 9000's?

What's the difference between these two? Right now my ride is really stiff, and I like it that way. I still get some pretty good flex though.

The nitro is a gas charged shock and should ride a little smoother. IMHO it's worth the added like $25 when you buy and RC lift.

its still gonna be a crappy shock. if you want a smooth riding shock, get old man emu nitros.

That's a huge concern for me, I have very little spending power and I want to get a quality kit, but I don't want to pay over-the-top for it.

Actually my suspension rides really rough, but I like it that way. I have near instantaneous recovery from huge bumps, and I'd really like my new suspension to be almost as stiff.

one is charged with gas, the other is oil. theyre still ****ty twintube shocks. the hydros will ride softer but fade after 3 miles, the nitros will ride harder and be stiff yet offer no control and fade after 5 miles.

Thank you for keeping things in perspective, you're making this decision making process much easier for me....

I am on a budget, I like the RC kit because it has everything I need in one go, and it's not too horribly expensive. I looked at the old man emu shocks, and I can't figure out their site.
