HVAC Systems Compatability Through The Years
My HVAC housing is toast thanks to the POs.
So I am just wondering what years will actually work in my 1993?
A 91 was just dropped at a picapart, and if it will work maybe I should go pull it in the morning?
EDIT:
BTW I will be going to 134a if that makes any difference? (maybe a 96????)

Should be fine 84 to 96.

So we have been spending quality time in the many Pick-a-parts out here in the Inland Empire looking for the right HVAC unit for my Jeep.
Today we found a 1990 and the Temp. probe is not like the ones they started using in 1991.
We found a 1991 Cherokee today, and sure enough it has the "Rosebud Connector on it, and the right probe that gets inserted into the AC Evaporator.
SO basically the 1991-1996 all used the same vacuum motors, and temp probe.
One note I noticed as well, is the 1991 heater control vacuum connector is different compared to the 1993.
Hope this helps someone later down the road?
