Hub Replacement Question
My '97 XJ has 276,000 miles and still runs strong. I replaced a ton of things already and now working on the front suspension. After 276K miles the front hubs and u-joints are about done or have been done......I don't want to sink to much $ into a truck with that many miles but the hubs and u joints are bad so are they hard to replace? I just replaced the lifters and pushrods last week and the ticking noise is gone...

Very simple to replace. Just remove the wheel, couple nuts for the axle, then front brakes (2 bolts), 3 bolts for hub & reinstall. BP blast the bolts as they will be a PIA to get loose. Axle slides right out.
