Cool Hub assembly

My front wheel bearing just went out and I was wandering if I could have new bearings pressed into the old hub? It would save some cash.

Do I have to pop the ball joints loose to change it out?

no you will need a 36mm socket though all you have to do is remove the brake caliper and disc remove the large nut in the center of the axle and the 3 or 4 i think 13mm bolts holding the hub on. but make sure you soak the nut's and bolt's with pb blast for at least 24 hours before attempting they are pretty hard to remove

^ what he said. There's 3 bolts, I know mine are 13mm 12-pt bolts. And as he also stated...

PB Blaster or any other pene. fluid.

and...

Soak the hell out of them.

That's all...

just did both of mine, and you better check those axle shaft u-joints, if they show any wear change them at this time. Since you have it all apart anyway.
