do you think these light mounts would interfere with say an airflow snorkel? i want one of those at some point and i want light mounts, do you think there would be a conflict

i actually saw a jeep with a snorkel yesterday and was thinkin the same thing and im not too sure but i think that the snorkel will sit to the side of the mounts just a bit and youll be able to have both

Snorkels are a problem.

I based my design off of rocklizards mounts with one exception. Thier's wrapped over the windshield trim.
I did not care for this at all.
IF you had to do anything that required removal of the w/s trim, you would have to remove the mounts.

Mine are shifted outward and do not cover the trim (as you can see in Clay's pics) This means some of the mount protrudes past the pillar.

MOST (not all) snorkels hug the pillar and would have an interference with the corner of the mount.

You would think so but...

With so many different snorkels out there, the problem arises of what to do to make them work.

Probably would be easier for user to customize mount to fit thier rig.

im thinking that if i do go with a set of your light mounts, i may just not get you to drill out a light hole and then "custom" fit the mount to work with the snorkel. id probably get the snorkel first and then get the mount and customize it that way

KEWLNESS!

I have changed my mind, and I will be installing a set on Lil Red.

Why?
2 Reasons:

#1: I have the hardware/mounting situation ,that Clay discovered, worked out. (Thanks alot Clay ) And by default, I am the second guinea pig. (Can't let Clay have ALL the fun!)

#2: My second set had a minor welding incident that was repaired, BUT doesn't meet my standards for sale. I can't let em just go to waste.

So the GOOD NEWS, they will be offered up for sale by next Fri (Feb 20th) for $56.85 (includes shipping to continental US)
