Default How to wire in tow package

I have a 95 cherokee SE with no tow package....sooo I bought a stage 3 hitch and was wondering how i wire in the towing package?

did it come with wire harness? if not autozone sells one that plugs right in with no splicing and looks like it would work well.

its a 4 prung but one of the prungs is covered my rubber just saying its a 3 point hitch if that matters

The taillight connector is behind the plastic panel behind the spare tire. Remove the panel, unplug the factory connector and plug the "T" trailer wire adapter into the 2 factory connectors.

A factory "tow package" usually consists of factory installed items such as a bigger/optional engine, heavy duty cooling, higher numerical gear ratio, bigger brakes, tranny cooler, etc., etc., etc. Seldom is a hitch or wires provided by the factory because there are so many choices. Having an electrical plug for trailer lights does not mean a vehicle has a tow package and can tow heavy loads.
