How to Tie Rods?
Ok since I got her lifted I decided to replace all my tie rods before my alignment.
I already got teh drag-link put on, now one the driver inner and outter, is the one at the drag link reverse thread? I know the one at th knuckle is I just now got it off, but what about the one that connects to the drag link? Clockwise or counter clockwise?
Also whats the easiest way to get the tie rods out of the adjusting sleeve? I already got one out and now working on the other. I got a alignment appointment at 2:30 tryin to get the tie rods in time so I wnt have to wait til monday

Yes one will be left handed thread and the other a right handed, you can look at the thread and normally see which is which. PB Blaster is the ticket to get those loose and of course make sure you loosen the adj sleeve itself. Good luck !!

Thanks, I was looking for a pipe wrench to hold the adjustin sleeve while I tried to get the other tie rod but but since mine walked off, I took the clamp on the adjustin sleeve slid it back past the threads inside, tightened it down put a wrench on it and used it to hold the sleeve itself while I worked the other tie rod out.
thanks
thanks
