How to tell if you 4 wheel drive is completely disengaged
I really need help trying to figure out how to tell if your 4 wheel drive is completely disengaged or not. I got under my jeep and with someone inside reversing and pulling forward I noticed that my front drive line was turning, and I'm sure if it is supposed to do that when it is supposed to be disengaged. Ok hope to get some help here, thanks! By the way it is a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4 Thanks!

your drive shaft will turn all the time because you do not have selectable hubs!! when your light goes off its out of 4x4....wont do so until your vac-disco is disenguaged
