It turns out that the UK wiring at least is different to that on the RHD FSM. My side indicators have a feed for the indicator then a ground on the other wire. They have no connection to the side light system. As for my front turn signals, yes they do take a twin filament bulb and have 3 wires coming out but, when the wires hit the loom, the blue/red wire for the marker feed is just cut and does not tie into the loom at all.

I decided to connect up the front turn signal marker wire and the side marker is linked to my indicators only. I did not like the look of the indicator lights flashing opposite to each other when the headlights were on so decided against wiring it like that. I also reckon it would be classed as a defect for the MOT.



To recap, prior to today the amber lights below the headlights did not illuminate unless the turn signals were on, they now work as marker and indicator lights. There was no light in the corner markers and they are now also indicator lights. I think it looks better now than it did this morning.
