How to restore stock headlight wiring?
I just bought a 95 Cherokee Sport 4.0L but the old owner rewired the headlights because he said "something" broke in the steering column.
What he did was wire the headlights on a separate toggle switch, one switch turns them on, the other is for brights. when you pull the headlight switch everything works fine except the headlights. basically he bypassed the headlights and wired them on this stupid toggle switch! i know it's stupid!
if anyone knows what this part is on the steering column is that controls the headlights, so i can replace it and if anyone can tell or show me where the headlights connect under the hood i can begin to fix this mess. thanks

Try changing the multi switch, it's the switch with hi/low beams, and turn signals. I had no headlight on my old dodge minivan and this switch was the cause.
