Just a photo from the web, but want to remove the vertical trim to recolor the faded carpeting, don't want to just go experimenting and break stuff. Anyone?

I don't think it's meant to pop off so just masked it off, what I was trying to avoid doing. Thanks

My guess would be that they are secured from the inside.
Would have to take the cover off to get at them.
In an '97 and up removing the seat cover is pretty easy.
Assuming the zipper is not all screwed up.
Not familiar with how the older seats are set up though.
There is one thing in '97 and up that you might or might not have in yours.
There are velcro strips glued to the foam.
The other half is on the cover itself.
You kinda have to reach in there, separate them, and pull the cover off at the same time.
You don't want to rip the velcro strips off the cover or foam when removing the cover.

Thanks Ralph77. Just about to go check the color match since it's had a chance to dry, at least it won't be green anymore.
