how to remove t-case shift linkage?

how to remove t-case shift linkage?
i have a 91 xj with a 4.0 aw4 242 tcase. The shift linkage for the t-case shifter needs to be removed more specifically the bracket that bolts to the tranny and t-case. how do you remove it? i have a few bolts out but its not coming and i dont want to damage the linkage itself
