How to remove the glove box?

No haven't gotten to it yet. Might do it this weekend. Like I mentioned above I'm just gonna cut an access hole in the glove box as I don't use mine anyways. I really don't wanna go through the hassle of removing the entire dash. Will take some pics when I get to it. If ya get to urs before I post mine let me know how it goes.

1st row the plastic plate 6 screws
2nd remove rubber limiters that prevent glove box from flippin down
3rd just pop it off
Gotta muscle it but it worked on my 98 XJ

Ok, after all these responses I see none that answer question of how to remove glove box Jeep Cherokee Sport (2001). From what I read it is recommended to disconnect battery because of air bag above glove box.
Please if someone can give me detailed instructions to remove glove box I would appreciate.

My reason I need to check function of heater blend motor so I can determine if I need to cut into heater box and replace doors.

Remove two rubber stops from top, and three screws from under.

Why would this thread tell you how to remove the GB on a 2001? Thread was started for a '94.

But, what prcherokee said...
