This thing has got me stumped.
1994 MANUAL 5spd.
Trying to remove the center console.
I can not get the black "overlay" off in order to access the mounting console mounting screws.
I remove the 2 overlay screws at the rear, I snapped the overlay off working forward towards the front. Right at the shifter it will not separate, in fact I have now cracked it,, There is something more than "snaps" holding this POS to the console. I tried to remove the shifter boot, but all I did was damage it.


Does anyone know how to remove this thing ??

Got it,,
The 5spd shifter boot does come out, have to "pop" it out by prying on the sides, same for the transfer case shifter.
once these are out of the way, more screws are revealed
