has anyone had to reattach the trim piece that goes over the tire on a 99 cherokee? It seems as though it is supposed to be wedged behind some sort of bracket that is attached to the jeep.

 

You will have to unbolt the bracket that holds the fender flare. You more then likely snap a few if not all of the bolts. All you have to do is gind out the old bolt and pick up some stainless steel nuts and bolt and replace them with the new ones.
