Default How to prevent this....

If you look at the picture(hopefully it works its my first time uploading a pic) where i made the cuts and then folded it over it made little dents. I just want to know how to prevent this when i do it on the other side. Also what do you think should I bondo these dents or just paint over em?

You can try and work them out with a hammer and dolly. Do you plan on putting some flares on it? A Jeep without a dent is a Jeep without a soul.

thats because the metal you are folding is larger then the space you ahve for the fold. make little relief cuts every inch or so, almost as high as you were you want your fold to be, from the inner end of the fender. like this

____l____l____l

then when you fold, the metal can lay over on top of the one next to it and not dimple up

It looks like you must have made some of the cuts slightly longer than the others, which caused the uneven folding. Maybe try and make sure on the other side that the cuts are exactly the same length. Thats all I can think of. But as far as correcting the existing damage, the above post is probably your best bet.
