12.2 mpg on city road
17 mpg on highway.
With 4" lift and 32x9.5x16 tires

 

I get about 15 mpg in town and about 17 on the highway. You can check out what mods are on my XJ in the box under my avatar. HTH!!

 

24 before blown head gasket 15 after and before vavle work, now zero because its miss its head!

 

I average 13.1 in town and about 16 on the freeway...

 

15 mpg, I have a XJ 4x4 6 cylinder, 4 liter.

 

I average a little over 17 judging by my overhead console. Stock 3.07 gears 4.0L and ax-15

 

Just bought a 96 XJ and drove it to Texas from Chicago, got 19-20 highway and about 16-17 city

I dunno, i don't pay attention to my mileage. it's too painful sometimes. I can't remember the last time i filled the tank 100%....or if i ever did. But i estimate that i'm getting roughly 64 mpg........at idle.

 

i agree 100% all i know is that if i throw 20 bucks in it i can go about 2 weeks maybe a little less if i gotta go someplace outa town.

 

With 235/60/18 (29X9.5X18) H/T (on-road) tires:
17 mpg on city trafic
19.5 mpg on highway
The money i save with this tires and the petrol price are very good for me. Now i have 3 kind of diferent whells+tires (4XM/T, 4XA/T 4XH/T) and i can use the right set for my moves

 

50 or 60 $$$$$ a tank depending on price of gas
thats pretty good seeing that i was puting $40 in a 98 neon that i hated
and $40 every 2 days for a 87 monte carlo that my wife hated

 

17-18 for me
1993 XJ 4.0L stock gears 4x4
3" lift 31" tires

 

19-20 mostly highway all stock 4.0L 4WD

 

15-16 around town.

Up to 19-20 on interstate dependant on hills, wind conditions. My rig is a brick..
