Default how much lift with stock control arms?????

hello all,

How much lift can I go with and not have to change the control arms?
I like the look of 4.5in and 31" tires. Also, will I have to change the steering
arm?

You may be able to fit a 4.5 lift without changing the lower CAs but the axle will sit on them and it will be the worst driving experience ever, No articulation, no flex, lots of clunks and if you drive over a bean it will feel like a pumpkin inside the vehicle.
Anyway i don't think a 4.5 lift w/o CAs does even exist...

do you all have any dimensions of the CA's? I'll just build some, I have a four link
set up that I can use to build them.

you can go as high as you want to if you just get the drop brackets for it and it will keep a much better ride.

I think your control arms will follow the path of your tires. And a inch on a tcase is not much. Back on topic you could lift 4.5 and add drop brackets and be good. RC's brackets are less than 200, so better ride and more flex than adj arms.
