how much lift?
I have a 2000 XJ Sport. I have owned it for a few years now. I have been keeping with the notion that it has a 3" lift because it has 31x10.50 tires which i believe is the norm for 3" lift. Since i bought it built already i don't know for sure and i had somebody recently try to say it has 4" lift. My question is this...how do i figure it out? Is there a way to measure it?

Do you have the stock flares? If so, measure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender flare. Stock height is 17" for the rear, and 17.5" for front. If you don't have stock flares, there is a method which measures from the axle tube(s) to somewhere (I forget where), I'm sure someone else can comment on this
