I'm curious. I know my XJ is as a base model as you can get, so I'm guessing mine weighs around 3k? I tried googling it, but there are just estimates for everything but my own. I'd like to hear some other opinions on this as well

Well, the Ax5 weighs less than the AW4, and so does the 2.5. I have garage carpet in my Jeep for some odd reason, and I don't have a spare either. So maybe I'm closer to 2.8k?
Any of you guys ever watch Beakman's World?
Not exact but within a couple 100 pounds in either direction.
Start at about 14 minutes in.

Where do you come up with this stuff? Actually that's pretty neat.
According to Edmonds, a 1995 xj w/2.5/manual trans. weighs 2932 lbs.

If that is directed at me.
You never have watched Beakman's World?
That show was awesome.
I was probably in 30's when I used to watch Saturday mornings.
I don't think I ever missed an episode.
And betting if I could not watch it recorded it.
Who remembers VHS?
I loved that show.
LOL.
Anyway I remembered the episode cause I thought maybe someday knowing that would come in handy.
