Default How much brake fluid.

Putting on my extended brake lines and filling the system. Just curious as to how much fluid I'm going to need. I bought one of these. Its 32fl oz, will this be enough if there isn't any in there now?

bleed all the lines until there is no air coming out, while making sure the brake resi doesnt run out of fluid. once all the air is out, fill the resi full.

You'll have a bunch left over....32oz is more than enough. I just did braided steel lines on my '99 and it really didn't take that much.

Cool, I just wanted to make sure. I'm going to be bleeding for a while. I don't believe there's any fluid in there!

Andrew you sound like you have no clue WTH you are doing. Please for the love of god take your vehicle to a brake shop and pay them to do it before you kill someone.

Thanks for your advice but I'l be ok aswell as all my fellow motorist. I know what I'm doing, I just never filled a cherokee's whole brake system and did't know the capicty and wanted to make sure I had enough to finish the job. I was afraid people misunderstood me thinking I was just gonig to be topping the system after I added the extensions. What I really ment is there is NO fluid in there and I didn't know the capacity. With 1 hour of daylight to try and get this thing road worthy after work, last thing I need is to run out half way through. Sorry you think I'm unable to bleed my brakes but I'll assure you, I'm not going to be killing anyone. So please for the love of god take your pwnage elseware. Thanks

NOW - someone riddle me this. The previous owner who decided to take the brake lines off of the jeep before I bought it lost the banjo bolts. All the local stealerships are out of stock. I have the part number, can someone please help me out with the thread, pitch and size of the bolt so I can run to my local napa with out pulling my brake caliper? Or will someone just try to pwn me again?
